New Orleans & Company (formerly the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau) has rebranded to better reflect the work that we do and the people we serve. Our new name embodies the inclusiveness we value, with “Company” representing our many members, partners and the culture-bearers who shape and carry on our city’s traditions. New Orleans is a city 300 years in the making that provides an iconic backdrop to events of any size. Its central location makes New Orleans easily accessible from many domestic and international locations, plus a walkable footprint and award-winning convention facilities make the city a crowd favorite for ease of planning as well as overall experience. The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center has embarked on an ambitious $550 million venture to continue to improve the attendee and planner experiences with a new linear pedestrian park along the length of the building, as well as plans for a “headquarters” hotel connected to the facility. Always an authentic destination, the unique blend of French, Spanish, Caribbean and African cultural influences in the architecture, food, people and music creates a one-of-a-kind spirit of creativity. With more than 1,500 restaurants and more James Beard Award-winning chefs per capita than any other city, New Orleans offers one of the most incredible – and diverse – concentrations of exceptional dining in the world. If you want an event that’s out of the ordinary, go somewhere out of the ordinary. A one-of-a-kind music scene with world-class culinary experiences; state-of-the-art accommodations in centuries-old neighborhoods. Experience a culture that doesn’t just thrive on creativity—but inspires it. When you meet in New Orleans, you’re in good company.
